What I like: The way the author makes the mythical creatures seem so real that you expect to find dwarves every time you go below ground or in a mountain.

Plot: A young hobbit in his `` tweens`` called Frodo inherits his uncle Bilbo`s fortune which he (Bilbo)  had gotten when he (Bilbo) had gone on an adventure. Frodo also inherits a magic ring which, when worn, can turn you invisible. Oh, and it was also The Enemy's (Hey, I didn't make the names) one great source of power, though this isn't revealed to Frodo until Gandalf the wizard comes and shows Frodo a special writing on the Ring. So Frodo sets off to Rivendale with Sam Gamgee, his friend and (maybe) servant, and also his    other friends Meriadoc Brandybuck, and Perrigrim Tuke to find out what to do with the Ring.
